Dev Ops and Windows Azure

I recently had the honor of visiting with Carl and Richard on their .NET Rocks Road Trip in Seattle. We got to talking about Dev Ops which is one of my favorite topics especially since many years ago (before there was this thing called “the cloud”) I used to manage 24/7 operations the hard way and it has become SO MUCH EASIER today especially with the features of Windows Azure.
We spend quite a lot of time in Dev Ops as a team at -Solliance — since we have helped many customers move to the cloud. Doing this safely is a delicate process, and together we have created some useful techniques for safely managing customer deployments. I shared many of these tips on the show…hope you enjoy!
